		On March 9^th, Mrs Elena Tanou, President of the Cyprus Organization of Professional Women awarded Tonia with the certificate of the Professional Woman for 2006. The event was hosted at the Cyprus Hilton under the auspices of the Minister of Interior and the Cyprus Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Tonia over the years has created several collections of jewellery. Her creativity is based on two concepts; movement and transformation. Using these two concepts, Tonia aims to give the modern woman the ability to change the design of her jewellery depending on the occasion and her needs.

The turning rings collection is based on movement. A ring changes from a day wear ring with gold and amethyst to a formal night wear of brilliant diamonds just by turning the middle stone.

The Interchangeable collection is based on the transformation of the jewel. A ring transforms to a bracelet or a set of other rings making a unique new design appropriate for the occasion.

The playful collection is based on the plurality of colours as well as the movement and transformation concepts. By a single movement, a ring is transformed into something else. A bracelet may turn into 3 rings and the stones on earrings, rings and bracelets may be altered by choice in a colouful game of metamorphosis.

The new "One to Eleven" collection is based on the idea that one ring transforms into 3 different ways.

Tonia travels to the sources of precious stones and selects individually each stone for each unique creation. The diamonds used are Belgian cut.
